Why Moon Bears are Highly Endangered Species

Posted by: eugene on: December 3, 2011

The moon bears which is found in the Asian extinction is unfortunately appears on the Endangered Species list. These poor animals are valued for their bile across the continent as they are kept back in cages. Although they are at these conditions they are still capable of living up to 25 years, which just prolong their fate and misery. They are farmed for their precious bile which serves as part of the traditional medicine. This cruel treatment is considered pointless since there are modern medicines which are far more practical and at the same time more potent. Moreover, alternative medicine such as herbal and synthetic alternatives are more accessible and effective and can replace the moon bear’s bile.

The existence of these poor animals is under threat and they deserve freedom no matter what.
